Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions following EQPD’s structured framework
- Build strong rapport and connections with students to encourage engagement and academic success
- Support students in Reading (1st-5th grade) or Math (1st-8th grade)
- Participate in ongoing paid professional learning to enhance tutoring skills
- Tutor in a fully virtual setting - requiring a computer, webcam, microphone, and a reliable internet connection
Qualifications Required:
- Must have accepted a Federal Work-Study award for the current academic year.
- Strong English language skills
- Comfortable troubleshooting technical issues
- Complete EQPD certifications (10-15 hours) after acceptance to the program
- Access to Google Drive, Internet browser software, Email software, Zoom
- Access to a computer/tablet with a working webcam, microphone, speakers, and reliable internet connection that is necessary for video conferencing

- Strong organizational skills to follow processes efficiently
