
Marketing and Publicity Intern - Grand Center Inc.
Description:
Through this internship, students will gain valuable experience in marketing, public relations, event promotion, social media administration, and general non-profit management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with online marketing and promotion – Mailchimp, Canva promotion
- Social Media Coordinator – Facebook, Instagram, other social media
- Coordinate press releases, Mailchimp newsletters
- Basic web update and maintenance
- Opportunity to work and attend our national conferences
Requirements:
- Flexible 15-20 working hours per week
- One or two semester commitment
- Sophomore/Junior/Senior majoring in marketing, public relations, mass communications, or non-profit management
- Reliable transportation
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to post and manage organization’s events on various social media
- Candidate should be a quick-study
- Great social/people skills encouraged and admirable
