Description:

The Event Assistant will support Urban Harvest STL fundraising and community engagement goals by assisting with our ticketed event series in 2025; including Happy Hour, Harvest Dinner, and annual Raise the Rooftop gala. During the scheduled event, the responsibilities entail supervising event volunteers, helping with set-up, check-in, food and drink service, and clean up. Urban Harvest STL grows healthy produce across a network of five urban farms in the heart of St. Louis and donates the harvest to nonprofit partners serving communities with limited or non-existent access to healthy, nutritious food. As part of this mission, we provide fresh produce at no cost to recipients. We support the cost of this free distribution program through ticketed events that connect attendees with fresh food from the farm while also raising money for our farming operations.
