Description:
The Organizational Excellence Administrative Support Worker will provide administrative support to the Human Resources and People & Culture team, while gaining valuable hands-on experience in HR operations. This role assists with day-to-day tasks such as employee records management, recruitment assistance, coordination of internal staff events/activities, and general office support. The position is designed to offer exposure to various HR functions and is ideal for students pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with data entry and maintaining accurate employee records and digital files.
- Help with recruitment efforts by tracking applications and scheduling interviews. ·
- Support onboarding tasks, including preparing welcome materials and assisting with onboarding logistics.
- Help coordinate internal employee events, meetings, or training sessions.
- Assist in creating and updating documents and spreadsheets.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
- Support HR staff on special projects or tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must have accepted a Federal Work-Study award for the current academic year.
- Strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail
- Experienced in Google Docs, Outlook and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.'
