Office Assistant - Grand Center - Hope Creates

The Office Assistant reports to the Program Director and assists all staff. The Office Assistant will engage in multiple areas of the organization’s operations. 

The Office Assistant will support Hope Creates in the preparation and execution of programming. The Office Assistant will be responsible for preparing and recording program surveys, maintaining physical inventory and inventory records, and assisting in the set up and tear down of various events and programs, and other tasks as needed.

The Office Assistant will also assist with the marketing materials and social media for the Marketing Committee and Young Professionals Committee. The Office Assistant will also support the Program Director with the Youth Advisory Board.

 

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Filing paperwork; supports organization and program data
  • Entering survey responses into our database: supports organization and program data 
  • Assisting with social media and other communication with volunteers and supporters: supports marketing efforts
  • Preparing for programming by packing materials, loading and unloading supplies, and putting materials away after programming: supports programming
  • Managing and updating our donor management system: supports relationships with donors and supporters

 

Required Qualifications

  • Must have accepted a Federal Work-Study award for the current academic year.
  • Able to work some evenings and some weekends for program delivery and events
  • A high school diploma
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office products, Google workspace products, Canva, and donor/customer management systems, or the aptitude to learn new software and programs
  • Managing inventory and set up/tear down are very physical tasks. Must have the ability to be on your feet up to four hours at a time and can comfortably lift up to 30 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • You must possess a valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle.
