Casa de Salud - Administrative Assistant – Grant Writing
Description:
The role of the Administrative Assistant – Grant Writing is to provide organizational and grant writing support to the Development and Marketing Manager. The AA will assist in prospecting potential funding sources, organize deadlines for submission, and draft content for upcoming grant opportunities. Must have strong writing skills, organizational skills, and adherence to deadlines. Preference will be given to students with previous grant writing experience. Additional project-based opportunities available to meet interest.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Research and filter grant opportunities to identify “best fit” for Casa de Salud
- Utilize organization’s CRM, Monday.com, to update on new grant opportunities, document deadlines and prioritize tasks
- Draft grant content in preparation for Manager review and editing
- Other marketing and development projects, as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Must have accepted a Federal Work-Study award for the 2024-2025 academic year
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Google Suite software
- Strong professional written communication skills
- Knowledge of clinical and healthcare-related concepts
- Commitment to working with underserved patient populations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual – English/Spanish
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Strong organization and ability to adhere to deadlines
