Casa de Salud - Communications Associate
Description:
The Communications Associate (CA) will assist the Development and Marketing Manager in developing, editing, and posting health and operational marketing posts on Casa de Salud’s social media platforms. This role involves attention to health literacy, crafting culturally sensitive messaging in English and Spanish and ensuring band consistency across all communications. Preference will be given to students with professional social media communications experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop content calendar for scheduled social media posts
- Create seasonal and health-related content for approval of Development and Marketing Manager
- Schedule pre-approved social media posts to Facebook, LinkedIn and other sites
- Adhere to organization branding guidelines
Required Qualifications:
- Must have accepted a Federal Work-Study award for the 2024-2025 academic year
- Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Commitment to working with underserved client populations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Google Suite software
- Ability to learn to use Casa’s electronic medical record required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Oral and written fluency in English and Spanish strongly preferred
- Interest in future in mental health, social work, public health or similar
- Previous experience with electronic medical records
