Immigrant Service Provider Network - Administrative Assistant
Description:
Since 2015, the Immigrant Service Providers Network (ISPN) has been a network of direct service providers and community advocates of immigrants throughout the St. Louis region. It seeks an employee to assist with administrative efforts for the network at large. A successful candidate is organized, responsive, and interested in learning about supporting collaborative service provision.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Communications: support with social media management and website maintenance; assist with graphic design, collate resources, and send a weekly newsletter and mass email.
- File Organization: maintain and organize Google Shared Drives
- Meeting Support: take notes at meetings as needed, assist with scheduling of committee meetings, admit participants, monitor waiting rooms and chat functions in Zoom meetings.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
- Must have accepted a Federal Work-Study award for the current academic year.
- High school diploma, currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program (preferably in social work or related fields of study)
- Excellent writing skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups and individuals
- Strong organizational ability and ability to maintain multiple priorities and projects
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Social Media, and Zoom
- Reliable internet access
- Commitment to racial equity and anti-racism
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
- Second language, helpful but not required
- Immigrant background/experience working with immigrants
