Grand Center - Nine PBS - People & Culture Student Worker

This role will support the day-to-day administrative functions of Nine PBS’s Organizational Excellence team, with a focus on people and culture. This role is key to delivering an exceptional employee experience. Reporting to the Manager, Organizational Excellence, this role manages key administrative responsibilities, maintains employee records, supports recruitment and onboarding, and coordinates people and culture initiatives. As a trusted partner to employees and leaders, this role supports an engaged and inclusive workplace.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Schedule interviews and facilitate hiring logistics to ensure a seamless candidate experience.
- Coordinate onboarding activities, including new hire documentation, orientation scheduling, and other processes that create a welcoming and engaging start for new employees.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and internal communications that strengthen organizational culture.
- Manage calendars, meetings, and other administrative activities that support the people and culture team and organizational initiatives.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
- Must have accepted a Federal Work-Study award for the current academic year.
- The ideal candidate will have the ability to handle multiple tasks, with a focus on detail and follow-up. They will be an organized team player who is committed to the mission of Nine PBS. Strong emotional and professional intelligence is required, given the frequent interactions with the rest of the Nine PBS team. This role will require both working as a member of a team, as well as effectively working independently.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
- Given the nature of the work, it is preferred that this individual has the ability to anticipate challenges and recommend solutions, as well as has the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
