Flance Early Learning Center – Classroom Helper (FWS Only)

Saint Louis University students participating in the Community Service Federal Work Study program have the opportunity to become classroom volunteers in the preschool classrooms at Flance. Classroom volunteers provide support and assistance to any of our early childhood teachers in the room. A volunteer can help support teachers in classroom activities, like reading or arts and crafts. Or simply, a volunteer can provide additional social-emotional support in the room. All of our volunteers help support the LUME Approach at Flance Early Learning Center. All volunteers are a vehicle to help provide the LUME 'spheres': psychodynamic, early literacy & language, and values & character.

A classroom volunteer helps out in the classrooms (infant, toddlers and/or preschool). They assist in classroom activities and programs run by the teachers. The classroom volunteer adheres to the teachers directions -- but reports to volunteer coordinator/development associate.
