Student Activities Assistant

Jamaa Learning Center seeks a motivated student that enjoys helping children to join their team! The job would consist of helping the Jamaa scholars with meals, transitions to and from their classrooms, tutoring, and monitoring recess. Depending on the start time of the employee, the job would include helping with breakfast and/or lunch, snack, recess, and assisting in the classroom or office. Students will also have the opportunity to learn more about working in an educational setting from an administrative, teaching, and social work perspective.

The ideal candidate will love working with elementary and middle school children. They will be dedicated to work, reliable, and passionate. The candidate will be flexible and willing to jump in and help out in a variety of situations with minimal prompting. The candidate will be trained and supervised by the Jamaa staff before working individually with children.

Student will need to provide their own transportation.
