Learn the basics of running a Campus Kitchen! The employee will be assisting the coordinator with daily operations.

 

Responsibilities may include:


Volunteer Management: recruit, train and retain volunteers to support the Campus Kitchen's basic operations of food recovery, meal preparation and meal delivery

Operations Management: lead volunteers in the safe preparation, accompany groups on delivery of Campus Kitchen meals

Program Communications: promote the local Campus Kitchen via website updates, and communications with partner agencies, working with client population

The majority of the work is performed on the SLU campus.

Prefer applicants with a car for deliveries and food pick-ups. This will be a 5-12 hour a week position with some weekend hours, candidates with a car preferred
