Gateway Greening - Community Builder
● Gateway Greening’s urban agriculture program supports over 200 community, youth, and school garden projects in St. Louis City and County. These community gardens and orchards empower communities to grow their own fresh food and build stronger, more resilient neighborhoods. Gateway Greening helps establish multiple gardens and orchards throughout the year, so we need you to make it happen!
● The Community Builder would construct infrastructure for new and expanding community gardens, work with volunteers on install days for community gardens and orchards, help with planting, growing and orchard nursery care, and assist with other garden development projects as desired.
● Community Builders will gain skills in basic construction, power tool use, growing their own food, and community development.
● No experience is necessary. This is a part-time and season-dependent position.
