Urban Harvest STL - Urban Farmer
Urban Harvest STL believes that all St. Louisans should have equitable access to fresh, healthy food regardless of socioeconomic status, race or location. We grow organic produce at seven farms across St. Louis City- where our most pressing food needs exist- and donate the majority of our harvest to nonprofit partners serving the under-served and under-resourced.
We are seeking Urban Farmers to work with our team on daily farm operations including the following:
Seeding, planting, cultivating and harvesting crops
Participating in the food access program with partner organizations
Tending to chickens
Tracking harvest, distribution and donation
Assisting with construction and maintenance projects on the farm
No experience is necessary. This position is part time and requires a commitment of three to five mornings each week (Monday through Saturday, 8am to noon).
