Arts and Education Council - Marketing Intern (FWS)

The Arts and Education Council seeks an intern to assist with our marketing and communications efforts. This internship is an excellent opportunity to experience various aspects of marketing while making a difference in your community through the arts. You’ll support marketing that enhances the Arts and Education Council's support of the arts and arts education in St. Louis. 

Your responsibilities will include updating website content, drafting copy for a variety of audiences including blog posts and email communications, creating engaging social media posts and other relevant marketing tasks, as needed. 

Qualifications/Experience – The ideal candidate will be a creative, well-organized, detail-oriented self-starter with the following:
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a variety of audiences
  • Knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn 
  • Enthusiasm for the arts
  • Familiarity with website content management systems
  • Familiarity with and interest in the arts and/or non-profit marketing is desired
  • Graphic design experience (Adobe Creative Suite or Canva) highly desired

Education: Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Arts Administration, or related field is desired.

Work hours/days are flexible, up to 15 hours per week.
