Urban Harvest STL - Farm Educator Assistant

The Farm Educator Assistant would work with our Farm Educator on farming tasks, as well as garden instruction at one of two early childhood education school garden sites: Flance Early Learning Center (1908 O’Fallon) and Guardian Angel Settlement Association (1127 Vandeventer). Garden instruction happens weekly with 12-18 3 year-olds.  Ideal work schedule would include Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, but is negotiable. 

Other tasks include general farm maintenance like watering, planting, weeding, harvesting, pest management, etc. 

The Farm Educator Assistant must pass a basic background check (paid for by Urban Harvest STL) to work with children.
