Immigrant Home English Learning Program - Program Intern

Immigrant Home English Learning Program (IHELP)

Job Title: Program Intern, Part-Time: 8–15 hours per week

Job Summary: Position will serve as an intern in the program department. Responsibilities include teaching English one-on-one, conducting student life-skills assessments & general check-ins, completing check-in calls with students on the waiting list, and general social media engagement. Work can be done remotely, but a hybrid work model is acceptable. Schedule is flexible and can be discussed with the supervisor. Responsibilities will be coordinated and supervised by the Program Manager. 

Qualifications:

Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on phone calling and working with diverse backgrounds
Strong organizational ability
Commitment to organizational values
Proficiency in Google Documents and Excel
Second language helpful, but not required
